Vail Valley Theatre Company is staging Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express at Grand Hyatt Vail from Wednesday, October 28, through Saturday, October 31, 2026. Each performance starts at 7 p.m. If you want an evening out in Vail this week, here is what to check before buying a ticket.

When and where is the show?

The production runs October 28, 29, 30 and 31 at Grand Hyatt Vail, 1300 Westhaven Drive. The company says doors open at 6 p.m. and asks guests to arrive by 6:45 p.m. The current-production page has the latest event information, while the ticket collection lists the individual performances.

What do tickets cost?

The theatre lists tickets at $45 before online fees, or $49.87 with fees. It also lists a $50 cash price at the door, subject to availability. Buying online is the safer choice if a particular night matters to you. The organizer says limited complimentary parking is available in the hotel garage; check the current event page for parking instructions before driving. Visitors staying in Vail can also review our guide to getting around without a car.

Is the production suitable for children?

The theatre’s production page recommends ages 12 and up and notes violence, loud sounds and strobe effects. However, the Wednesday ticket listing says ages 16 and up. Because those notices conflict, ask the theatre which policy applies to your performance before buying tickets for a younger attendee.

Plan the evening

Allow time to park and find the performance space before the 7 p.m. curtain. If you are making a full day of it, browse our visitor essentials for more trip-planning ideas. Confirm prices, availability and event details with the organizer on the day you go.
